Running for Sofija

The story

Sofija has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and tuberous sclerosis. Her family is raising money for further treatment and a planned operation abroad.

The YuGoRun community ran for Sofija twice: a virtual charity run from 13 to 22 December 2024 and "Subotica trči za Sofiju" throughout April 2025. People ran any time, anywhere and any distance, and YuGoRun added up the kilometres.

The entry fee was a donation: 2 text messages with 1660 to 3030 (400 RSD in total). The top runners received Decathlon gift cards in December and YuGoRun T-shirts in April.
